Overview
Credco® is available within ICE Mortgage Technology™ lender‑facing applications, including both the desktop and web versions of Encompass®.
By configuring Credco as a service provider in your Encompass environment, you allow your users to access credit services directly within their existing workflow—without switching systems or disrupting loan processing. The configuration steps will be completed in the Encompass Web Portal, even if your team primarily uses Encompass Desktop to access the integration.
Add Credco as a service provider
Sign in to the Encompass® Web Portal using your administrator credentials.
From the Admin page, expand the Services panel, then click Services Management.
Click Add Service.
In the Category popup, select Credit from the dropdown menu.
Click Retrieve Products.
Use the Search field to narrow results by entering Cotality Credco.
Locate the Cotality Credco tile, then select the Manual hyperlink.
On the Add Manual Setup page, enter a unique Service Setup Name.
Optionally, enter a description in the Service Setup Description field.
Optionally, in the Readiness Conditions section, configure the criteria that must be met for authorized users to see the service in their order options menu.
Note: The condition syntax is based on the Visual Basic .NET programming language. For information on how this syntax works, refer to the Advanced Coding for Business Rules guide or contact Encompass® Support for assistance.
In the Authorized Users section, add the users who will access the service. Use the Organizations or Users list to locate them. Once located, click the move icon (—>) to transfer users from the left-side Category panel to the right-side Selected Entities panel. Use the Search icon to search for a specific user. Use the Down Arrow icon to expand the Category folders.
Best Practice: Enable the service at the highest organizational level to ensure all Encompass users can access it and that new users automatically receive access when onboarded.
Once all users have been moved to the Selected Entities panel, click the checkbox to select all users.
Click on the Active toggle at the top right of the screen to turn the service from OFF to ON.
Click Save to complete manual setup.
