Overview
The Finding Detail Panel on Collateral Investigate™ provides a deep dive into specific rule violations, showing the finding name, severity, and update history. You can view supporting evidence across specialized tabs like Photos and Comps, or collaborate with your team using the Messages and Share finding features. Accessing these comprehensive details ensures you have the necessary context to assign the correct status through the Select decision menu.
Navigate the Finding Detail Panel
The Finding overview, displays the finding name, the severity level badge (such as Low, Medium, or High), and timestamp showing when the category was last updated.
Select the Appraisal info tab to view specific details about the appraisal rule that triggered the finding.
Select the Comments tab to view existing notes or add a new one.
Select the Add a comment text area and enter your message.
Click Add comment to save your comment.
Select the Messages tab to send an internal message regarding this finding.
Click + Write a message to open the Write a message window.
Complete all required fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Click Send Message to send.
Select the Recent activity tab to view the history of updates made to this finding.
Select the Photos tab to view any photos associated with the finding.
Select or deselect the Subject or Comp checkboxes to filter the photos displayed.
Select the Comps tab to view comparable properties.
Select the map button to see the geographical location of the subject property and comparables plotted on a map.
Select the table button to view the comps in a grid format, which includes the comparable type, distance, sales price, and key characteristics compared to the SUBJECT_PROPERTY.
Select a comparable property row from the list to expand it and view detailed information.
Select the Share finding link at the bottom-left corner.
Select the checkbox next to the name of the reviewer with whom you want to share the finding. If needed, enter a name in the Search by reviewer field to filter the list.
Select the Share Finding button.
In the Write a message dialog, enter a description in the text box explaining why you are sharing this finding.
Click Write Message to complete the sharing process.
Select the Select decision button in the bottom-right corner.
Select one of the following decisions from the list based on your review.
Outcome
You can now examine the finding details, review supporting photos and comparable properties, and shared the information with other reviewers.
