Overview
Mercury Network® allows you to resume an order that has been placed on hold or marked as delayed. When resuming an order, you can update the due date, document the reason for resuming the order, and return the order to active processing.
How to resume an order that is on hold or delayed
Select the folder that contains the held or delayed order.

Locate the order and double-click it to open Order Details.
Select Set Status from the toolbar.
Select Resume from the drop-down menu.
In the Resume window, complete the applicable fields:
If the order has a new due date, enter it in the New Due Date field.
If your organization uses double-blind ordering, select the appropriate reason for resuming the order.
If your organization does not use double-blind ordering, enter a message explaining why the order is being resumed.
Select OK to resume the order.
How do I update the due date when resuming an order?
If the order requires a revised completion timeline, enter the new date in the New Due Date field before resuming the order. This updates the expected delivery date and helps maintain accurate order tracking.
How do I provide a reason for resuming an order?
The method for documenting the reason depends on your ordering configuration:
Double-blind ordering enabled: Select a predefined reason from the available list.
Double-blind ordering disabled: Enter a custom message explaining why the order is being resumed.
Outcome
After resuming the order, it returns to active processing. Any updated due date and resumption reason are recorded as part of the status update, helping maintain accurate order tracking and communication throughout the appraisal process.
