Overview
Requesting a revision allows you to address issues or required changes after an appraisal has been completed. Mercury Network® provides a straightforward way to submit revision requests, clearly explain the needed changes, and cancel the request if it is no longer required.
How to request a revision for a completed appraisal order
Click Completed in the list of order statuses on the left.

Find the order in the list of orders and double-click it.
Click Set status in the top toolbar, and select Request revision from the drop-down menu.
In the window that appears, enter a message explaining the requested appraisal changes, and then select OK to send the revision request. Because the appraisal order is complete, you can enter a free-form message; double-blind communication rules no longer apply.

How to cancel a revision request
If the revision is no longer needed, open the appraisal order, select Set status, and then select Cancel revision request. Enter notes explaining the status change, and select OK to cancel the request.

Outcome
After you submit the request, the completed appraisal order shows the revision request and your free-form instructions. If you cancel the request, Mercury Network records the status change and notes in the order history. This helps ensure appraisal corrections are communicated clearly while maintaining an accurate order status and audit trail.
