Overview
You use the search bar and apply filters to find properties by Address, Owner, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN), or Cotality Integrated Property Number (CLIP™).
Searching for properties
In the search bar, you can type one of the following:
Address: Enter the full or partial address. The system provides auto-suggestions as you type.
Owner: Enter the full name of the property owner. The system suggests matching names as you type.
APN: Enter the Assessor's Parcel Number, which can be formatted or unformatted.
CLIP™: Enter the Cotality Integrated Property Number. (Typeahead suggestions do not apply to CLIP™ numbers.)
To narrow your search, apply State, County, or Zip Code filters. This is useful for owner or APN searches with many results.
Choose a property to access the Property Overview report.
Add a Reference ID by filling out the Ref ID field. This ID appears in exported PDFs, CSVs, and admin usage reports.
Note: The Ref ID can be up to 50 characters (alphanumeric and special characters like /?!@#-,*&;_).
Outcome
You can now search for properties using various methods and find specific information efficiently.
