What’s Changing with Fees?
Today, vendor fees are calculated based on multiple data points, with the appraisal form number being a primary factor. With UAD 3.6, the industry is transitioning away from using individual appraisal form numbers as a foundation for defining the scope of work for vendor fee calculation. Instead, we will use updated data requirements to understand the property characteristics. The data that describes the subject property drives the appraisal report, not a form. As a result, we must revisit how vendor fees are configured and calculated within our fulfillment platforms.
