Listing Photos

The Photos Tab is your all-in-one command center for managing listing media, designed to turn visual images into market-ready presentation tools with minimal effort. By combining powerful AI automation, flexible upload options, and bulk management controls, this section eliminates tedious file handling and helps speed up your listing workflow.

Ensure the Photos tab is selected.

The tab badge displays the total number of photos currently added to this listing.

Add or edit your listing photos.

You must read and agree to the Image Upload Certification.

Save or Submit your changes.

Add Photos

The Add Photos section provides up to three flexible methods to populate your media gallery—whether uploading fresh files directly from a local drive, importing existing photos from a previous listing, or inviting a professional photographer to upload images directly.

Direct Upload (Local Hard Drive): Select the Add Photos button to upload directly from your computer or device.

Files can all be dragged and dropped from a folder.

Import from Previous Listing: Select the Import from Another Listing link, enter the target Listing ID or listing number, and confirm to pull associated photos into your draft.

Users must have assigned permission to access the previous listing.

Photographer Access: Select the Photographer Access button to invite your property photographer, via email, to upload photos directly to your listing.

AI Feature	Description
Identify Type	Automatically analyzes uploaded photos to detect and assign appropriate room or property category labels (e.g., Kitchen, Living Room, Exterior).
Generate Description	Scans image content to automatically draft detailed, public-facing captions for each photo to enhance buyer interest.
Suggest Features	Uses visual details detected in photos as a data source to automatically populate corresponding feature fields within the listing editor.

Photo Tools

Managing large image galleries requires quick visual filtering and high-level controls. The Photo Toolbar gives agents immediate control over photo visibility, making it easy to audit public assets versus private administrative media before finalizing a listing.

Filter

Show All: Displays every uploaded photo (Public & Private)

Public: Filters and displays only publicly visible photos

Private: Filters and displays only photos that are visible within the listing system.

Feature	Description
See Photo Type and Description	Toggle allows you show or hide all photo type and description controls, allowing for a cleaner card view when editing isn't needed.

Photo Cards & Management

Photo Cards include large thumbnail images and allow agents to easily adjust room categories, refine captions, toggle disclosure labels, and reorder assets individually or in bulk via intuitive drag-and-drop mechanics.

Feature	Description
Photo Thumbnail	Select any thumbnail to launch the full-screen Photo Viewer. Click here to view the Photo Viewer image. Use the Photo Viewer to assign a photo type, modify descriptions and display all photos within a specific group.
Virtual Staging Label	Identify digitally staged images by applying the Virtually Staged badge, ensuring compliance and buyer transparency.
Reordering Images	There are two options when repositioning a photo. Manual Drag-and-Drop: Select and hold the Drag Icon, then drag the image to your desired position. Multi-Select Group Reordering: Select multiple photo thumbnails in sequence. Select and hold the Drag Icon, then drag the entire group to your desired position simultaneously.
Category	Use the inline dropdown to assign a photo type - or category - this image belongs in.
Description	Add the description manually or remove it entirely and let AI populate the text. AI-generated descriptions can be regenerated on demand.
Actions	Mark/Unmark as virtually staged: Toggle the virtually staged badge on an individual photo to display or hide the disclosure label. Upload Original Photo: Upload and automatically link the unedited or original version of a photo alongside a virtually staged or modified version, allowing users to compare both using a virtual slider tool. Move to Top: Immediately relocates the current photo to position #1 at the beginning of the listing gallery. Move Forward: Shifts the current photo forward by one position in the gallery sequence. Move Backward: Shifts the current photo backward by one position in the gallery sequence. Move to Bottom: Immediately relocates the current photo to the very end of the listing gallery. Delete Photo: Permanently removes the individual photo from your listing draft and collection.

Here are a handful of tips to help you take the best property photos:

Category	Best Practice / Tip
Camera & Lens	Use a full-frame digital camera instead of your phone.
Lens Selection	Use a wide-angle lens to create a sense of space and openness.
Orientation	Primarily shoot in landscape (horizontal) and not portrait (vertical) orientation.
Perspective	Shoot at eye-level (or about 5 feet high) for a natural perspective.
Camera Leveling	Keep the camera straight and level—not pointed up or down—to avoid curved lines and distortion.
Lighting & Stability	Use a tripod and flash to ensure bright, sharp photos; bounce the flash off the ceiling to avoid harsh shadows.
Shot Planning	Scout the location and create a list of shots you want to capture, both exterior and interior.
Time of Day	Avoid harsh lighting and shadows by shooting early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Property Staging	Ensure the property has been tidied and exterior obstructions have been removed.
Feature Highlights	Highlight the property’s best features, such as a pool, new kitchen countertops, the fireplace, etc.
Shot Quantity	Take more photos than you think you’ll need.
