Overview
If you need to buy new credit data after a credit report has already been generated, you must suppress a reference number in Credco.com, then submit a new request for your borrower in Encompass. This will override the reuse of the existing credit data and allow you to pull new credit data.
Note: If you do not have access to the Suppress Reference Number, reach out to your Cotality Account Representative.
Suppressing a Reference Number
Search for the Reference Number.
Click Search.
Select the Reference Number.
Select Suppress Reference Number.
Click Confirm to proceed with suppressing the selected reference number.
A notification will show that the suppression was successful; click OK to close.
To buy new credit data, log back into Encompass.
Submit a New Request.
Note: Once suppressed, the reference number can still be used for actions like adding or removing a bureau or borrower, reprinting, or re-accessing, but it cannot be suppressed again.
Outcome
You can now suppress a reference number to request new credit data for a borrower.
