It explains what each role can do in the system and how settings, functional levels, profiles, and rule profiles work together to support configurable order and appraisal workflows. --- Here is how to order an appraisal using **Appraisal Scope**: 1. From the landing page, click **New Appraisal**, or **New Order** if your platform-version is configured for AVM and RCR order types. 2. If you’ve clicked **New Appraisal**, the **Request a New Appraisal** page will open. If you’ve clicked **New Order**, select **Appraisal** from the menu, and the **Request a New Appraisal** page will open. 3. Click the Appraisal Form drop-down box and choose a valuation product from the list. > [!NOTE] > **Note**: Repeat this action for drop-down lists with red asterisks, and then fill in boxes with red asterisks. Be aware, though, that the loan number is also required. Proceed to step 4. 4. Next, Enter the loan number in the **Loan #** text box. 5. To change the entity name that will display on the appraisal report when it’s complete, click on the **Client displayed on report** drop-down and select an option from the list. > [!NOTE] > **Note**: This list is determined by configurations set by an AMC admin user (see Client on Report section for more information). 6. If you’d like to notify any other client users within your company about the order you’re placing, click the **Notify Users** drop-down box, and select the relevant check boxes from the dialog box that appears. Click anywhere outside of the dialog box when you’re finished. 7. Enter information in all required text boxes throughout the order form, and in any other text boxes associated with information that’s not required but that you’d like to provide. 8. In the **Fee Information** section of the order form, note the button bar that allows you to change the text boxes that are available to enter details beyond just the borrower’s details. 9. Once you’ve finished inputting all required and otherwise relevant information, click **Submit.** 10. Depending on your configurations, the Secure **Online Appraisal Payment** dialog box may appear. If it does, make your preferred payment choice and click **Submit** to finish the order. --- ## Outcome After these steps, you will have submitted an appraisal request with the required information completed and any optional details added as needed. You’ll also be able to select the appropriate valuation product, enter the loan number, notify additional users, and complete payment if prompted by the Secure Online Appraisal Payment dialog box.
