How to Submit the UCDP Submission

When a UAD 3.6 appraisal is received and automated rule verifications are completed, the order status updates to Ready for Investor Submission. For Automated Submission clients, the appraisal is automatically sent to UCDP based on the customer’s UCDP configurations.

  1. For manual submission clients, orders remain in Ready for Investor Submission until processed.

    1. Once you’ve searched for and located an order, double-click to Open.

  2. Click the Investor Submission Summary dropdown to expand the details.

Note: Click View Appraisal Report to view the PDF report Download Appraisal Zip to view the entire file.

  3. Click Submit. If UCDP submission is unsuccessful or encounters a fatal warning, you can review the Investor Submission workspace to view details and resolve the issue. If UCDP submission is successful for all applicable investors, the order will move forward to Review in Progress, Pending Release, or Closed status, depending on the customer’s workflow configurations.

How to Bypass Investor Submission

Use Bypass Investor Submission to stop further submissions to UCDP and move an order forward for review, even when fatal findings remain unresolved. This option is available only at specific stages of the order lifecycle and to users with the required permissions

Bypass Investor Submission:

  • Stops additional investor submissions and moves the order forward for review despite unresolved fatal findings.

  • Is available only at specific stages of the order lifecycle.

  • Requires the user to have the appropriate permissions.

  • May be unavailable or disabled based on the order’s current status or the user’s permissions.

How to Request a UCDP Revision

If a UCDP submission encounters a fatal warning, the system attempts to determine whether the UCDP fatal warning requires an appraisal revision. If it does, Mercury Network® automatically requests a revision from the service provider. The order status and the Investor Submission sub-status badge are updated to Revision Needed. Fatal warnings will be displayed in the Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac sections, and in the history log. If Mercury Network® does not initiate a revision, you can manually request one after reviewing the warnings.

  1. If an appraisal revision is not required, correct the issue and click Submit to resubmit the appraisal to UCDP.

  2. If you need to manually request a revision from the Service Provider, click Request Revision.

  3. On the Request Revision page, the message will by default include all the fatal warnings. You can edit those warnings and/or include a custom message to the Service Provider.

  4. Click Send Message. The order status and the Investor Submission sub-status will change to Revision Needed, and the service provider will receive the revision request.

Note: The History Log will display the requested revision including any custom notes to the Service Provider. It will also include the user who sent the request, along with a date and time stamp.
