# How to Remove an Applicant on Credco.com

## Overview

Within credco.com, you can remove applicants from a previously run Instant Merge credit report.

## Removing an applicant

1. Use the search criteria to locate the applicant’s report, then click **Search**.
2. Review the results and check the box for the applicable report.
3. Click **Remove Applicant** in the menu at the top of the list.
4. Click **Remove** under the applicable applicant or co-applicant you want to remove.
5. Click **Submit**. A new report is generated with a new reference number.

> [!NOTE]
> **Tip**: If you need to split applicants from an initially processed joint report, you must access the joint report and remove the Applicant. After that, return to the joint report and remove the co-applicant.

You can now remove an applicant from a previously ordered Instant Merge report.
