Overview
The Opportunities List identifies areas in the analysis where additional income opportunities may be available. With the right supporting documentation, this income can potentially improve your borrower’s loan qualification.
Access the Opportunities List
Access the Opportunities List in two ways:
From the Summary Pane on the Income Calculation or LO View tabs, click the Available Opportunities link.
From the Task List, located in the upper right-corner of all screens in Income Analysis, click the View Opportunity List task.
Click View to review the opportunity details and take action, if applicable.
Review the income opportunity details, including amounts and calculation used.
Observe any system generated comments and status badges.
Select the appropriate income action, including Skip, Edit or Accept. When an opportunity is accepted, the additional income will be reflected in either the LO Adjusted or Adjusted (Underwriter) total column(s) depending on the user type that took the action.
Tip: If a Loan Officer has taken action on an opportunity, an LO status badge will appear. This badge informs Underwriters of the specific action taken by the Loan Officer. For example:
If the Loan Officer skipped an opportunity, the badge will display “LO Ignored”.
If the Loan Officer accepted the opportunity, the badge will display “LO” along with the accepted income amount (e.g., LO $100).
Opportunity Sticky Bar
When viewing a specific opportunity, you may notice a sticky bar affixed to the top of the page. The Opportunity Sticky Bar feature allows you to quickly navigate between opportunities.
From the opportunity you are viewing, navigate to the top of the screen.
Expand Opportunities list by clicking the > symbol.
From the dropdown list, select an opportunity to navigate to. Income Analysis will automatically display the specific details for the opportunity selected.
Outcome
You can access the Opportunities List to view and accept income opportunities.
