This helps manage timing changes while keeping the client informed. --- If you need to place an order "on hold" you can do so by setting the order status to **Delayed**: 1. Click the **Orders** button at the top of the window. 2. Double-click the order you wish to delay. 3. On the toolbar near the top, click **Set Order Status**, and choose **Delayed**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-4P3GCUET.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T03%3A31%3A55Z&se=2026-11-06T04%3A31%3A55Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=kThQP2nyp0CGqfCmZH4HnyK%2ByIKBlv4kfc3WWf%2FShA8%3D) 4. Enter any notes that should accompany the **Resume** status, and click **OK**. Now, the order displays a status of **In Progress** and you can continue processing it as normal. --- ## Outcome After completing these steps, you will be able to delay an order with a reason, then resume it when ready. The order will return to In Progress status so you can continue working as normal.
