# How to Create a Client Account on Mercury Network®

## Overview

Creating a client account in Mercury Network® allows you to access the platform and manage appraisal orders. The signup process requires basic user information and validates that your username is unique.

1. From the client login page, click **Sign Up**.
2. Enter your account information in the provided fields. Any field marked with a red asterisk (*) is a required field.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note**: A yellow alert icon will show in the field if the username is already taken in the system. You must enter a unique username before proceeding.
3. Click **Next** to create your account and log in to the orders dashboard.

## Outcome

After completing these steps, you will be able to access the orders dashboard. This enables you to begin placing and managing orders in Mercury Network®.
