Overview
Credco.com lets you quickly correct applicant and co-applicant information, such as names, dates of birth, and current or previous addresses, without submitting a new order. This feature is especially useful for correcting information entered incorrectly during the initial ordering process.
Correct applicant information
Enter one or more search parameters (such as Applicant SSN, Account #, or Loan Number) in the Search Criteria section of Search Transactions.
Click Search.
Review the search results and select the checkbox next to the applicable report.
Select Correct Applicant Info in the Search Results header.
Select the correct applicant and co-applicant information by choosing the radio button(s) next to the matching details.
Note: If the correct information is not available, a new credit report is required.
After selecting the correct information, click Submit.
Note: An updated credit report is generated with new a Reference Number. Use this new number to retrieve/reissue the report to your Loan Origination System (LOS).
Outcome
You can correct applicant and co-applicant information to generate an updated credit report without placing a new order on credco.com.
