Overview
Escalating a file allows you to transfer ownership of an appraisal review to a higher-tier reviewer or specialized team. This action ensures that critical, high-risk valuation issues receive the appropriate level of oversight. By escalating these files, you maintain compliance standards and keep the review pipeline moving efficiently.
Escalate Files
When one or more findings are marked as Escalation Needed, you can escalate the file.
To escalate a file, click Escalate on the main screen.
Select the receiving tier or individual from the Escalate menu.
Click Escalate Order to transfer ownership.
Note: Escalating a file removes it from your queue and transfers ownership to the receiving reviewer or tier. You will no longer have access to the file.
Outcome
You can now escalate the review file and transfer ownership to the selected tier or individual reviewer. The file is removed from your queue, and you can now focus on managing your other active reviews.
