These configurations define baseline behavior for the platform, including finding visibility, communication constraints, and data retention policies. --- ## Configure Organization Settings [Embedded content](https://app.storylane.io/demo/4dtcxsk6emua?embed=inline) The **Organization settings** control preferences for all members in your organization. Define global preferences, such as personal note visibility, message length limits, and data archival periods. ### Access the Organization Settings: 1. Click the **Settings icon** in the toolbar to open the **Settings** menu. 2. Select **Organization Settings** from the menu. 3. Click the **Edit settings** button to open the configuration drawer. 4. Configure **organization settings** (Refer to the list below for a complete description of each setting.). 5. Click **Save settings** to save and apply your changes, or click **Cancel** to exit without saving. | ### Organization Settings Description | | --- | | **Findings bulk actions** | Enable reviewers to select multiple **findings** and **decisions**, leave the same **comment**, **escalate**, **request revisions**, or **share findings** all at once with one interaction. Only **low- and medium-severity findings** can be decisioned in **bulk findings** because **high-severity findings** are typically insurability issues. You can still tag highs with **bulk actions** for **escalates**, **revisions**, and **shared findings**. | | **Accept findings** | Allows reviewers to **accept findings** without requiring a comment. This implies the findings were accurate but wouldn’t require further justification or don’t impact the overall collateral decision. | | **Personal notes** | Allows reviewers to create private **personal notes** that are visible only to them. **Personal notes** do not replace official **review comments** or **attestations**. Think of this feature as your reviewers’ scratch pad. | | **Exclude weekends** | Exclude weekends from the date thresholds defined in your assignment logic. | | **Archive date limit** | Defines how long records are retained before being archived. This date should match your **archive date** in the platform. It is your record retention time limit. | | **Content character limit** | Sets the maximum number of characters allowed in messages and finding commentary. | | **Minimum length for summary comments** | Requires reviewers to enter a minimum number of characters when completing summary comment sections such as **Finalize Review**, **Request Revision**, **ROV Determination**, and **Reconciliation**. | | **Reason for decision** | Define which enumerations appear in the dropdown on each status screen for **Finalize review**, **Request revision**, **Determine if ROV is needed**, and **Reconciliation**. | | **Holistic date range priorities** | - Define **holistic dates** that override the **Get next** prioritization set at the tier level. - You can enter a number in each **date field** and rearrange them by importance. Alternatively, input your range on the last line for all dates. - Select the **tiers** to the right you want the **date override** to apply to. If you select no tiers, it defaults to all tiers. > [!NOTE] > **Note**: Override dates will be searched across all selected tiers, and the most prioritized date will continue to be assigned first in order until all prioritized dates have been assigned. The auto assignment will follow Get next logic in order of your tier hierarchy. **Related article**: [How to Configure Assignment Settings](/ext/docs/how-to-configure-assignment-settings#overview) | | **Wordsearch management** | Manages the **words** and **phrases** that trigger findings to be cleared by your reviewers. This helps ensure no disallowed commentary remains in the report. Review [How to Configure Wordsearch Management](/ext/docs/how-to-configure-wordsearch-management#overview) for complete setup and configuration guidance. | | **Platform reviewer assignment** | **Platform Reviewer Assignment** is available only for clients who perform review assignments within their LOS. This setting can only be enabled by **Cotality**. | | **Get Next** | Get Next is enabled for all clients except those using **Platform Reviewer Assignment**, as review assignments are managed through your LOS. Reviewers click the **Get next** button in the queue to begin the highest-priority review. | | **Default sharing** | Set a **default** list of items to share with your vendor during a revision request. Without a default, reviewers can select what to share with each file. | --- ## **Outcome** You can now configure and maintain organization-wide settings on Collateral Investigate™ that govern finding management, data archival, and review requirements. Centralizing these preferences helps promote consistency, and operational efficiency across your organization.
