Overview
Organization settings allow administrators to manage global preferences for all members. These configurations define baseline behavior for the platform, including finding visibility, communication constraints, and data retention policies.
Configure the Organization Settings
The Organization settings control preferences for all members in your organization. Define global preferences, such as personal note visibility, message length limits, and data archival periods.
Click the Settings icon in the right-hand corner of the toolbar to reveal the Settings menu.
Select Organization Settings from the menu.
Click the Edit settings button to open the configuration drawer.
Enable Findings bulk actions to let reviewers decide on multiple Low and Medium severity findings simultaneously.
Accept findings: This toggle enables or disables members' ability to indicate that the finding is still accurate but does not impact the value or accuracy of the report. By disabling Accept findings, your members will have the ability to decision a finding as Dismiss, Escalate, Request Revision, or Flag the finding as faulty.
Personal notes: This toggle enables or disables members' ability to write personal notes within a review. Personal notes are only viewable by the member who wrote them. They are intended to give your reviewers the ability to have a scratchpad within their file instead of using a physical notebook or word document.
Archive date limit: This field is to indicate how far back you’d like your records to show within Investigate prior to archival. It also drives which Prior Orders are shown within the Order Details Screen.
Message length: This field enables a maximum number of characters for both internal and external messages.
Note: Direct Tier Assignment: This toggle is only by Cotality. It indicates if we are using hard coded assignment logic and requires contact with your Cotality representative. If this Toggle is enabled, you will not have the ability to edit Tiers or Auto-Assignment within Investigate.
Platform Reviewer Assignment: This toggle is only by Cotality. It indicates if we are using hard coded assignment logic and requires contact with your Cotality representative. If this Toggle is enabled, you will not have the ability to edit Tiers or Auto-Assignment within Investigate.
Automatic Review: This toggle enables or disables the ability to set a Tier or review type to close without a human review and only provide a review artifact.
Get Next: This setting is only enabled by Cotality Admin.
Click Save Settings.
Outcome
By completing these steps, you will have successfully configured your organization’s global preferences to align with your operational standards and data policies. You have now standardized the review process by enabling bulk actions, defining finding protocols, and establishing guardrails for data archival and message lengths. This transition from manual oversight to a centralized framework ensures all members work within a consistent environment, improving efficiency while maintaining strict compliance and data governance across the platform.
