How to Configure the Action Required Folder on Mercury Network®

Prev Next

Overview

The Action Required folder helps you track orders that need attention without relying on email notifications. When you configure this folder, Mercury Network® automatically aggregates orders based on specific status events and timeframes. This ensures you can focus your attention on your most urgent tasks first. You can customize the folder settings to include orders with specific status updates, vendor comments, or those without updates within a certain timeframe.

How to Configure the Action Required Folder

  1. In the top navigation menu, click Orders.

  2. In the left folder menu, click the Gear icon next to Action Required.

  3. Select each status event that you want to filter into your Action Required folder

    1. Click All to select all status events, or None to clear all checkboxes.

  4. Set the global timeframe under Include orders with these events from the last [X] day(s) to specify how far back the folder searches (e.g., 1–7 days).

  5. Adjust individual dropdown filters for specific status events if needed.

Note: Dropdown menus allow tighter filtering than the global timeframe. For example, with a 7-day global timeframe, setting Revision Requested to 24 hours flags the order after one day of inactivity while keeping it in the folder for up to 7 days.

  6. Click Save to apply your changes.
