Verification of Assets (VOA), Assets Analysis, & Cash Flow Analysis Basic Navigation

Overview

The Verification of Assets (VOA) application streamlines and modernizes the asset verification process, eliminating many of the delays and inconsistencies common in traditional, manual asset reviews. Instead of gathering documents by hand and validating asset information manually, the application centralizes everything into one secure, easy‑to‑navigate workspace.

Navigating between tabs and identifying essential features will help you make the most out of the application.

Borrower Progress tab

The Borrower Progress tab provides a complete view of the borrower’s VOA file activity. Here, you can track key milestones, including:

  • When the VOA order was initiated and by whom

  • When the email invitation was sent to the borrower

  • When the borrower logged in

  • When the borrower linked accounts or uploaded documents

This tab serves as a convenient, centralized location for reviewing all actions and their current statuses.

In addition, the Borrower Progress tab includes two helpful features:

Reverify:
If the borrower has consistent direct‑deposit payroll transactions, that data can be used to obtain Rep & Warrant relief from Fannie Mae® and Freddie Mac® for employment verification. Use this feature to order an asset reverification before closing to confirm the latest payroll deposit, replacing the need for a paystub or VOE for the 10‑day pre‑closing certification.

Resend Invite:
Use this feature to resend the borrower’s invitation if they did not receive it or accidentally deleted it.

Documents tab

The Documents tab displays all asset documents associated with your VOA order. From this tab, you can:

  • View documents

  • Identify each document’s source (uploaded or linked, and by whom)

  • Download documents

  • Upload additional documents

Key features

  • Statement Link: Every document—whether uploaded or linked—includes a Statement Link. Click the link to open and view the document.

  • Download: Documents can be downloaded directly from the Documents tab. To download a document, select which document(s) you wish to download by selecting the checkbox next to it, then click Download to save a copy to your local drive.

Tip: You can select multiple statements to download at once.

  • Upload: Additional documents can be uploaded directly from the Documents tab. Click the Upload button to add additional documents to your order. From the Upload Document(s) popup, you can click Upload File(s) to choose a file from your drive, or drag and drop the file into the upload zone.
