Use the Set Status option to record a scheduled inspection date or mark an inspection as completed, ensuring the order status accurately reflects inspection progress and keeps stakeholders informed. --- ### How to set an inspection date or mark an inspection as completed 1. Select **All Open Orders** from the list of order statuses. 2. Locate the order and double-click it to open **Order Details**. 3. Select **Set Status** from the toolbar. 4. Choose either: 1. **Inspection Scheduled** to record a scheduled inspection date, or 2. **Inspection Completed** to indicate the inspection has been completed. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-I0JVVSOT.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T23%3A14%3A03Z&se=2026-11-06T00%3A14%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=pcaXzczEI30rVQK9JyPUBPY%2BDU%2BSl%2BjGf2TaBc8G1vM%3D) 5. Enter the **inspection date** in the status update window. 6. Add any **messages** that should accompany the status update. 7. Select **OK** to save the change. --- ## Outcome After updating the status, the order reflects the inspection milestone you selected. This helps ensure inspection progress is documented and communicated, even when the vendor does not provide the status update directly.
