# How to Retrieve Credit Reports on Encompass Desktop

## Overview

You can retrieve your Credit Reports from the Credco Integration or eFolder to review, download, and print them directly within your Encompass Desktop workflow.

## Retrieving Credit Reports

### Retrieving Reports via Order Status Tab

1. Go to the Credco Integration screen and select the **Order Status** tab.
2. Click the **Document** icon to open and view the applicable report. The report will open in a separate window as a PDF for review, download, and print.

### Retrieving Merge Plus Credit Reports

1. Go to the Credco Integration screen and select the **Order Information** tab.
2. Click **Merge Plus**.
3. Select the **View and Check Status** tab.
4. Scroll to the **Attachments** section and click **Check Status**.
5. When the document record appears, click **MergePlus.pdf.** The report will open in a separate window as a PDF for review, download, and print.

> [!NOTE]
> **Warning:** If a borrower has a credit freeze in place with any credit bureau, they need to reach out to the bureau(s) to remove the freeze before their credit report can be retrieved. Once the freeze is removed, it is necessary to reorder the report. There may be extra fees incurred when reordering after the credit freeze has been lifted.

1. From the Encompass Desktop interface, select the **Services** tab menu at the bottom left.
2. Click the **Document** icon to the right of the **Order Credit Report** panel.
3. In the **Services** dialog, select the applicable report
4. Click **View Documents**. A PDF of the report will appear in a pane on the right side to review, download and print.

You can now retrieve your Credit Reports to review, download and print all within your workflow.
