Mercury Network® provides a clear workflow for reviewing these requests and choosing how to respond so the order can move forward. --- When you place an order, the vendor you select may conditionally decline it pending an adjusted fee or due date. If this happens, you'll receive a notice about the conditionally declined order and must respond to the order in Mercury. To do so: 1. Click **Conditionally Declined** in the status list on the left. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-HJ0C9ZIC.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T23%3A50%3A37Z&se=2026-11-06T00%3A50%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=OiycG0%2Bf%2B4Y2O7TN%2F48OBJ%2B2E9SVqURO%2F%2FQY7WMP58k%3D) 2. Find the order in the list of open orders and double-click it. 3. Select one of the responses at the top of the screen and click OK. Responses include: 1. **Agree** - Accept the proposed fee and due date 2. **Conditionally Agree** - Continue "haggling" about the due date and fee. Be sure to update the due date or fee if you mark this option. 3. **Reassign** - If you select this option, you must select a new vendor and accept the payment terms for that vendor. --- ## Outcome After completing these steps, you will be able to locate conditionally declined orders and respond by accepting the proposed changes, negotiating new terms, or reassigning the order to a different vendor. This ensures orders are resolved quickly and continue progressing without unnecessary delay.
