# How to Mark an Appraisal Order Complete on Mercury Network®

## Overview

If an appraisal report was delivered outside Mercury Network®, you can upload the completed report and mark the appraisal order as complete. This keeps the order, documents, status history, reports, and management tools available in Mercury Network®as if the appraiser had delivered the report through the platform.

## What you need before marking an Order complete

**Note:** that you will need the **Compliance** permission to use this feature.

## How to mark an order complete and upload the appraisal report

1. In the Orders view, double-click the order you intend to mark complete.
2. Click Set Status, then select Mark as complete.

3. If you've already received the appraisal (for example, if it was delivered via DataCourier and you downloaded the MISMO XML file) you can upload the MISMO XML file using this window. Click **Upload**, and select the file from your PC. The upload will start immediately.
4. Add a note, then click **OK**.

## What happens after you mark the order complete

After you complete these steps, the appraisal order is marked complete and the MISMO XML report is stored with the order. You can then access the report, order history, documents, and management tools available for other completed orders in Mercury Network®.

## Outcome

After completing these steps, you will be able to mark an order as complete and upload a MISMO XML file for the appraisal. The order will then function like any other completed order in Mercury Network®, with full access to reports, history, and management tools.
