# How to Upload Legal Documents on DigitalTax® Portal

## Overview

You can upload legal documents to attach essential property records—such as a legal description, Exhibit A, or appraisal—directly to an existing loan. Providing these documents completes the loan profile and helps resolve any contracting suspensions.

## Steps

1. Open the details of the particular loan, or locate the loan within a table.
2. Click the **Upload Legal icon**.
3. Drag and drop your file into the drop-box, or click to select the file from your device.

> **Tip**: If the legal description contains multiple pages, combine all pages into one PDF document before uploading.
4. Click **Upload**.

## Outcome

You have successfully uploaded the legal document to the loan. The system displays a success notification, and the file is saved and accessible under the Legal/Documents tab.
