# How to Remove an Applicant from a Joint Credit Report

## Overview

Easily remove an applicant from a joint credit report. This process gives you the flexibility to update the report when an applicant is no longer part of the loan application.

## Remove an applicant from a joint credit report

1. On the **Order Dashboard (Home)**, locate the order that you want to remove an applicant from.

> **Tip**: Use the **Filters** at the top of the Order Dashboard (Home) to quickly narrow your search.
2. From the **Actions** dropdown menu, select **Remove Applicant**.
3. Use the radio buttons to select the Applicant or Co-Applicant you want to remove.
4. Click **Remove**.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note**: An updated credit report is generated with new a **Reference Number**. Use this new number to reissue the credit report to your Loan Origination System (LOS) or applicable Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE).
