# How to Rank Vendors on Mercury Network®

## Overview

Ranking appraisal bids helps you compare vendors and organize bids during the review process. Rankings can also be shared with clients when forwarding commercial bids for selection.

To help in your evaluation of the bids you receive, you have the option to rank the appraisal bids. Click the Rank vendors button on the toolbar. Then, in the Rank column, enter each vendor's rank for this bid.

If a commercial order has come from a client and you forward bids to your client for review, the client will be able to view the rankings. Click here to learn about forwarding bids for review.
