Overview

The SmartFees™ Exclusion List is an optional feature that lets Account Admins search providers in the Cotality™ public network and mark them as excluded. Excluded providers will not appear on the Select Provider page, in service provider lists, or be available for selection in any SmartFees file.

Add a provider to the list

  1. Log in to SmartFees using your Account Admin credentials. You can do this through your LOS integration (if the SmartFees user interface is accessible) or by visiting www.smartfees.com.

  2. Select the My Settings tab.

  3. Select Provider Exclusions.

  4. Any providers currently on the Provider Exclusion List will be displayed.

  5. Select Add Provider.

  6. Enter the provider’s name in the Search Provider field, and the list will display all matching providers.

  7. Find the provider you want to exclude and check the box next to its name.

  8. Select Add Provider.

  9. The provider has been added to your Provider Exclusion List and can no longer be selected by any user in SmartFees files.

Tip: If you need a report of all providers on your Provider Exclusion List, you can export it as an Excel file. The report includes each provider’s company name and address. To generate the report, click Export List.

Remove a provider from the list

  1. Log in to SmartFees using your Account Admin credentials. You can do this through your LOS integration (if the SmartFees user interface is accessible) or by visiting www.smartfees.com.

  2. Select the My Settings tab.

  3. Select Provider Exclusions.

  4. Locate the provider you want to remove and select the checkbox next to name.

  5. Select Remove Provider.

  6. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm; select Yes.

  7. The provider will be removed from the list, and users will be able to select it in SmartFees files where rates are available.

Outcome

You can add or remove providers from your Provider Exclusion List and export a report of excluded providers in SmartFees.
