# How to Edit Orders on Mercury Network®

## Overview

Use **Edit Order** in Mercury Network® to update appraisal order details after an order is received. You can revise order information, reassign the order to an eligible appraiser, and save the changes while maintaining the assignment requirements.

## How to edit or reassign an appraisal order

Once you've received an order in Mercury Network®, you can always go back and update the order at a later time if necessary — Here's how:

1. Click the folder on the left to filter just the order you want to view.
2. Find the order in the list of open orders and double-click it.
3. When the order loads, click **Edit Order** in the top toolbar.

4. To reassign the order to another appraiser, select their name from the **Assigned to Employee** drop-down.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note**: If the order originally required a supervisor appraiser, you can reassign it only to another eligible supervisor appraiser.

5. Edit order information and click **Save** when finished to update the order.

## Outcome

After you save the changes, Mercury Network® updates the appraisal order details and records the selected appraiser assignment. The order remains accurate and is assigned to an eligible appraiser who meets the original assignment requirements, including any supervisor-appraiser restriction.
