Overview
Mercury Network® provides two methods to locate an order: Search and Filters. Search is the most direct method when specific criteria are available. If specific details are unknown, use Filters to sort and identify orders by their current status.
The UAD 3.6 update brought changes to the Order Workspace. Specifically, there are two new options for sorting orders: A new Order Type and new Status Folders.
How to Search Orders with Order Type
As part of the UAD 3.6 update, a new Order Type filter has been created to differentiate between regular Residential Appraisals and Residential Appraisals — Legacy Forms.
On the toolbar at the top of the Order Workspace, click the Order Types dropdown menu to display your available search options.
Choose either regular Residential Appraisal or the Legacy Forms version.
Tip: No matter whether you select Residential Appraisal or Residential Appraisal (Legacy Forms), the rest of the steps in this article work the same for both options.
How to Search Orders with Status Folders
The UAD 3.6 Update also added two new status folders for active orders.
For In Progress orders:
A Product Details Requested folder has been added.
For In Quality Control (QC) orders:
A Pending Release folder has been added.
A new top-level folder has been added: Review; it also includes two new subfolders:
In Progress (meaning that a review of the order, and not the order itself, is in progress.)

How to Search Orders with Search Order List
Use the search tools in the Orders view to quickly locate any order by entering relevant terms and filters that best match what you’re looking for.
In the Orders view, type the search criteria into the Find box on the left side of the screen.
Select the appropriate radio button to search for an item that Starts With or simply Contains your search criteria.
In the In field drop-down, select your search field.
In the Placed field, choose the time frame in which you'd like to search.
In the Orders field, choose the type of orders you'd like to search (All, Unpaid or Paid).
After selecting the desired criteria, click the Magnifying Glass icon or press Enter to run the search. If any orders match your search criteria, they are displayed in the Found Orders list.
How to Search Orders using Search Defaults
When searching orders, there are default values in the In Field and Placed drop-down boxes. For faster searching, you can change what these fields are set to by default.
Click the gear icon to the right of the In Field drop-down menu.
In the window that appears, several options are available that pertain to finding orders:
In the Field Default drop-down, choose which option should be chosen by default.
In the Placed Default drop-down, choose which search option should be chosen by default.
Under Show the following as available fields, choose the items to appear as options in the In Field drop-down menu.
When you’ve made your selections, click Save.
How to Search Orders with Filter Order list
Filtering your orders by status helps you organize your workflow by letting you quickly narrow your view to only the orders in the stage you want to focus on.
Navigate to the left side of your Orders list.
Locate the status-based filter folders on this side of the list.
Note: These folders represent the different order statuses available in your workflow.
Click the filter folder that matches the status you want to view.
This action filters your orders based on their current status.
Review the filtered list of orders.
This display shows only the orders that match the status of the folder you selected.
Outcome
You can now navigate the updated Order Workspace features introduced in UAD 3.6, allowing you to seamlessly switch between standard and legacy appraisal forms while managing complex order stages like quality control and reconciliation.
