Mercury Network® allows you to manage this process by manually applying the original Doc File ID to additional appraisal orders before submission. This article explains how to submit multiple appraisals for one UCDP loan and what to consider when working with Doc File IDs. --- Sometimes a loan requires more than one appraisal, so UCDP accepts up to three appraisals for a single loan, and each of those appraisals must be submitted using the same UCDP Doc File ID. It's these cases where you might need to manually enter a Doc File ID on a Mercury Network® order. Here's how to do it: 1. Double-click any order to view the Order Details. 2. In the **Assignment information** section, on the **UCDP Doc File ID** line, click **Edit** or the click the existing **Doc File ID** (which is displayed as a link) – whichever appears. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-M69F9WOB.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T22%3A39%3A00Z&se=2026-11-05T23%3A39%3A00Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=ntHSe%2Fica51%2BhHuwkuEghVWe%2BlZYFbJGHo2gnVidRKQ%3D) > [!NOTE] > **Note**: If you see the Doc File ID instead of the word **edit** you'll know there is already a Doc File ID associated with this order. Be sure you intend to change the Doc File ID before you proceed, since subsequent submissions using this Doc File ID could replace a previously submitted appraisal. 3. In the dialog that appears, enter the intended Doc File ID and click **OK**. If you enter a Doc File ID that's already associated with another Mercury Network® order, you'll see information about the other order(s) associated with this Doc File ID near the top of the **Order Details** window. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-0Q758ZOP.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T22%3A39%3A00Z&se=2026-11-05T23%3A39%3A00Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=ntHSe%2Fica51%2BhHuwkuEghVWe%2BlZYFbJGHo2gnVidRKQ%3D) --- ## Outcome After reviewing this article, you will understand how to submit multiple appraisals for a single loan to UCDP using Mercury Network®.
