How to Manage Existing Users on Credco.com

Overview

As an Administrator, you have the ability to manage users and their permissions, as well as to disable users directly on Credco.com.


Managing existing users

  1. Click Administration in the navigation menu.

  2. Select the user’s profile from the Profile menu.

  3. Select your search criteria from the Search By menu.

  4. Enter your search criteria and click Search.

  5. Select the relevant user from the results of your search.

  6. Select the relevant tab from the End User Administration page to carry out specific tasks:

    1. User Maintenance: Select to change the username, personal details, or contact information.

    2. Supplement & Verification/Order Product: Select to edit the assigned profile type, associated account numbers, the Loan Officer Code, or Branch ID.

    3. Type of End User: Select to modify the user type (Admin Level), available features, products, and search criteria.

    4. Password Assistance: Select to reset a password.

  7. Click Save & Close once changes have been made.

Tip: A temporary password will be created and sent to the user. They will be asked to set a new password for their account.


Disabling existing users

Notes

  • You must be an Administrator to disable a user.

  • Disabling a user does not remove the user record from the system. The user can be reactivated at any time.

  1. Click Administration in the navigation menu.

  2. Go to the User Administration tab and select the user’s profile from the Profile dropdown list.

  3. Select your search criteria from the Search By dropdown list.

  4. Enter your search criteria and click Search.

  5. Select the applicable user from your search results.

  6. Next, go to the Type of End Users tab.

  7. In the Users Options section, select Disable User.

  8. Click Save and then close.  


Outcome

You can now manage various account settings for your users, as well as disable users as needed.
