It explains where jobtypes are maintained, what configuration options are available, and how those settings affect what vendors see and what report file types are returned to the AMC. --- ### The Manage Job Types page #### Overview: Managing jobtypes The **Jobtype** tab is located on the main tab menu. When a user clicks **Jobtype**, the **Manage Job Types** page opens. This page is where the jobtypes that an AMC has created or saved to their platform-version will be listed. AMC admin users are able to configure the jobtypes here to determine what jobtypes will display to vendor users at time of registration, whether FHA and commercial rules will pertain to a given jobtype, whether the appraiser’s opinion of value displays within order details, and the type of file format of the appraisal reports received by the AMC. The Appraisal Scope term jobtype is equivalent to an appraisal form, or as it’s often referred to throughout this User Guide, a valuation product. In the Appraisal Scope platform’s default setup, a comprehensive list of appraisal forms is provided under the **Appraisal Form** column on the **Manage Job Types** page. Most of these forms are grouped in categories corresponding to the type of loan an individual form is associated with, e.g., conventional, jumbo, FHA, or USDA. Supplemental or other more rarely used forms are at the bottom of the list. The list is entirely customizable (please see Note following this paragraph). Admin users can rename forms, delete forms, and change the organizational structure of the page to suit their AMC’s preferences. It’s important to note, though, that although the jobtypes on this page can be modified at any time, they will ultimately represent the valuation products that make up Jobtype Lists, known commonly as fee schedules, assigned to clients. > [!NOTE] > **Note**: The **Delete** icon is permission dependent and is only available to AMC staff who have been granted this permission during setup. --- ### Tasks for Managing Jobtypes #### Adding a new jobtype An admin user can easily add an appraisal form to a platform-version’s list of forms on the **Manage Job Types** page. To add a form, a user will type the form name into the **Appraisal Form** text box, select the **FHA** or **Commercial** check boxes if the form will pertain to either an FHA or Commercial loan type, and select the **PDF** or XML check boxes to denote in what file format they’d like to receive the appraisal report returned for orders requesting this newly added valuation product. When the user has made these choices, they’ll click **Add New**, and the new valuation product will appear in the list under the **Appraisal Form** column. #### Configuring jobtypes Admin users can control jobtype configuration options in the **Display to App., FHA, Commercial, Appraised Value**, and **File Types** columns by either selecting, clearing, or leaving empty the check boxes within these columns. --- ## Outcome Upon completion of the procedures in this article, administrators will be able to add, organize, and configure jobtypes on the Manage Job Types page. This configuration governs which jobtypes are presented to vendors during registration and ensures that applicable loan-type rules and required appraisal report file formats are applied consistently. --- ##
