It gives a high-level tour of where to go to manage orders, access appraisal records, handle accounting tasks, manage users, and configure platform settings and dashboards. --- Each tab in the main tab menu marks a point where a user can gain entry to the building blocks of an Appraisal Scope platform-version. The following summaries and corresponding diagrams provide an overview of the functionality behind each landing page element. 1. The **Dashboard** tab offers functionality designed to help staff users efficiently manage their order workload, with multiple ways to filter order queues, and quick visibility into any order status. 2. The **Appraisals** tab allows AMCs to search for, access, edit details, and perform tasks related to the orders they are managing. 3. The **Accounting** tab gives AMCs access to financial information to manage accounts, pay appraisers, send invoices, and calculate commissions. 4. The **Users** tab offers AMCs access to their client and vendor profiles and all the controls for managing their relationships with clients and vendors. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-K6HNHDQ4.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T22%3A10%3A05Z&se=2026-10-31T23%3A10%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=z768l%2FVFzm8EeuA3yPX6jN9P2YgmQga7SSHLHy2Wjmc%3D) --- 1. The **Jobtype** tab is where AMCs will go to set up their product offerings in the platform. All of the tools are here to build fee schedules and choose how these fees will be applied for products ordered. 2. The **Reports** tab provides tools that AMCs can utilize to create, schedule, and run reports using data from their platform-version of Appraisal Scope. 3. The **Settings** tab gives AMCs a set of pages where they can configure administrative settings that will impact many aspects of their platform-version functionality. In addition, there are controls available here that will allow AMC staff users to set up visual and textual elements unique to their company. 4. The **Staff** tab gives AMCs a place to set staff members up with individual profiles. The staff profiles kept in the system hold all of the rule and permission settings that determine what type of tasks a staff user can perform. 5. The **Metrics** tab provides widgets that can be used to create custom dashboards displaying graphical representations of data. 6. The **Rule Profile** list is where an AMC staff user can see displayed the set of rules they’re working under, and also choose from any set of rules that they have access to. These rules will determine what orders a staff user can view and be assigned. --- ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-HOE2H58T.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T22%3A10%3A05Z&se=2026-10-31T23%3A10%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=z768l%2FVFzm8EeuA3yPX6jN9P2YgmQga7SSHLHy2Wjmc%3D) --- The **Staff** list displays the name of the staff user to whom a particular platform-version configuration belongs. For staff administrators, the list will contain the names of all staff members using the platform. Administrators can choose from any of these names to be able to see and interact with that staff member’s configuration. 1. The **New Order** button offers AMC staff the ability to place orders for an appraisal, an automated valuation model (AVM), or a regulatory compliance review (RCR). 2. The **All Reminder** icon is where staff users can see reminders that they and others within their organization have set. 3. The **Configure Dashboard** icon is where staff members can go to rearrange the elements on their dashboard by simply dragging and dropping boxes. 4. The **Help** link gives staff members access to the User Guide from their platform. 5. The **Logout** button is where staff can exit the platform when their tasks are complete. 6. The **Work Status** link offers staff members a way to notify other staff of when they’re on the job or when they’re on vacation. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d7730790-9b0e-4a1e-800e-a32628b13559/Images/Documentation/image-X0TJQ3O4.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T22%3A10%3A05Z&se=2026-10-31T23%3A10%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=z768l%2FVFzm8EeuA3yPX6jN9P2YgmQga7SSHLHy2Wjmc%3D) --- ## Outcome After reading, you will be able to identify what each main tab is used for and choose the right area of the platform for common AMC workflows.
